Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about Yaleess.
Is my privacy protected?
Yes. Protecting your privacy is one of our highest priorities. Yaleess is designed so that you can use the service without having to reveal your real identity.
When you sign up, we recommend using an email address and username that do not directly identify you.
Payment data is processed directly by Stripe, a secure payment platform. Yaleess does not store your banking details or payment card information.
How do credits work?
Once your free credits are used up, you can continue enjoying Yaleess by choosing the option that best suits your needs.
You can subscribe to an Essential or Premium plan with either monthly or annual billing. At the beginning of each billing cycle, the credits included in your subscription are automatically added to your account.
If you use up your credits before your next renewal, you can purchase additional credit packs at any time to continue your conversations without interruption.
You can also upgrade from the Essential plan to the Premium plan. The credits included with your new subscription are immediately added to your current balance, and a new billing cycle begins.
If you prefer not to subscribe, you can purchase pay-as-you-go credit packs, such as the Discovery and Standard packs.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time, with no commitment.
Cancelling your subscription stops its automatic renewal. However, any credits already available in your account remain available until they are used up, subject to the applicable validity terms.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your account at any time from your personal account. This action permanently ends your access to Yaleess in accordance with our data management policy.
Does Yaleess replace a healthcare professional?
No. Yaleess is a virtual companion designed to listen, support, and encourage personal reflection. It is not a substitute for a psychologist, a physician, or any other healthcare professional. If you are experiencing significant emotional distress or are facing an emergency, we strongly recommend seeking help from a qualified professional.
