When creating an account, we recommend using an email address and username that do not directly reveal your identity.

We process the information necessary to create and operate your account, authenticate you, manage your preferences, credits and subscriptions, and provide the Yaleess service.

This may include your email address, username, language and communication preferences, timezone, account status and technical information required for the operation and security of the service.

Yaleess does not require your real name, postal address or telephone number in order to use the service.

Messages that you send to Yaleess are processed in order to generate responses and maintain the necessary conversational context.

Because conversations are free-form, you may choose to disclose personal or sensitive information in your messages. We recommend that you avoid providing information that is not necessary for your conversation.

Yaleess is designed to limit the persistent storage of conversation history and to retain only the information required for the functioning and personalization of the service.

Yaleess may use selected information from your conversations to build a personalized memory intended to make future conversations more relevant and consistent.

This functionality is subject to your consent. If you do not consent to personalized memory, Yaleess will not intentionally create persistent personalized memories from your conversations.

You may withdraw your consent to this functionality through your account settings.

Payments are processed directly by Stripe, a secure payment provider.

Yaleess does not store your payment card number or banking credentials. We may nevertheless receive and retain information necessary to manage purchases, subscriptions and credits, such as payment status, transaction references, amounts and dates.

We use your information only for purposes related to providing, securing, operating and improving Yaleess, including account management, authentication, conversations, personalization, credit management, subscriptions, customer support and prevention of misuse or fraud.

We do not use your conversations to display targeted advertising.

Yaleess relies on specialized technology providers to operate the service, including secure cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence services and payment processing.

Only the information necessary for the relevant service is processed by these providers.

We implement technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss or disclosure.

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legitimate security and administrative needs and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Different categories of information may therefore have different retention periods. Yaleess is designed to minimize unnecessary retention, particularly for conversational information.

You may request deletion of your account from your personal account area. Deletion requires explicit confirmation in order to prevent accidental loss of your account.

Following deletion, information associated with your account will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data management procedures, except where limited information must be retained to comply with legal, accounting, security or fraud-prevention obligations.

You can manage certain information and preferences from your account, including your communication preferences and consent to personalized memory.

You may also contact us if you have a question concerning the processing of your information or wish to exercise a right available to you under applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy when Yaleess evolves or when legal, regulatory or security requirements change.

Where an update requires renewed acknowledgement or consent, you will be informed before the relevant change takes effect for your account.
